How do I wash URSA Straps?
Why should I choose URSA?
URSA Straps are not made from Neoprene or Elastic. We have developed a brand new bonded fabric specifically for purpose. Our fabric is ultra-slim at 1mm thick. It provides excellent stretch, comfort against skin and breathability with an outer surface which hook gripper can attach to at any point.
Our Thigh Straps do not slip down the leg like other straps. To keep them securely in place we bond on a unique layer of ultra-thin Polyurethane gripper.
We have also developed a brand new Cable Pocket for managing excess mic cable and Colour Tabs to easily identify each strap.
Our pouches are also designed to keep the transmitters locked in place without the need for any additional gripper fastening.

Where can I buy them?
What are Pouch Protectors and do I need them?
We recommend using Pouch Protectors with Audio Ltd MiniTX Transmitters. The Pouch protectors are bought separately and are used to keep the transmitters locked inside the pouches. We recommend their use when the transmitter may be pushed out of the pouch due to extreme movement, for example action sequences or dance. To view them in more detail please view the Pouch Protectors product page

(Small Transmitters also fit in a Big Pouch)
Our Thigh & Ankle straps are only sold with a Big Pouch – we decided to keep these straps as wide as possible to allow them to be secure on the leg.
What are the pouch dimensions?
The Big Pouch measures 78mm across and 100mm deep. The Small Pouch measures 75mm across and 87mm deep.
All the measurements can be found on each product listing in our Products range
Do you make double pack straps?
Yes we do! They are available in Small, Medium and Large Waist sizes with two Big Pouches sewn in and you can view more detail on the Double Pack strap product page
How should I get my transmitter inside the pouch?
To get your transmitters into the pouch simply stretch the opening. Don’t worry it wont break, they are designed to stretch! Once the transmitter is inside the top stitches will spring back and hold the transmitter in place. Larger transmitters like a Sennheiser G3 or Audio 2040 are a tight fit. We recommend Big Pouch straps if you use large transmitters – this includes the Audio Ltd MiniTX which is much taller than your average transmitter.
How long do they last?
Our straps should be considered a consumable. Our tests have found that our straps last over 100 days of constant use. After this point you may wish to replace them but they do not stop working.
Who are URSA Straps?
URSA Straps was founded in 2015 by UK based Sound Mixer Simon Bysshe and his partner Laura Smith who works in Costume Design. We began making URSA Straps by hand in our garage. After surging demand we have scaled up our production with the aid of two highly experienced manufacturing firms in Northern England. URSA Straps product designs are Patent Pending in the United States and protected by an EUIPO Registered Community Design in Europe.
