How Do I wash URSA Straps?

URSA Straps are machine washable. View the URSA washing guide video.

  • Connect gripper on straps when washing.
  • 40-60ºc short wash – hang to air dry or low heat tumble dry.
  • Keep straps and accessories sterile with URSA Zipper Cases.
Why should I choose URSA?

URSA Straps are not made from Neoprene or Elastic. We have developed a brand new bonded fabric specifically for purpose. Our fabric is ultra-slim at 1mm thick. It provides excellent stretch, comfort against skin and breathability with an outer surface which hook gripper can attach to at any point.

Our Thigh Straps do not slip down the leg like other straps. To keep them securely in place we bond on a unique layer of ultra-thin Polyurethane gripper.

We have also developed a brand new Cable Pocket for managing excess mic cable and Colour Tabs to easily identify each strap.

Our pouches are also designed to keep the transmitters locked in place without the need for any additional gripper fastening.

What are Pouch Protectors and do I need them?

We recommend using Pouch Protectors with Audio Ltd MiniTX Transmitters. The Pouch protectors are bought separately and are used to keep the transmitters locked inside the pouches. We recommend their use when the transmitter may be pushed out of the pouch due to extreme movement, for example action sequences or dance. To view them in more detail please view the Pouch Protectors product page.

    Usage

How should I get my transmitter in the pouch?

To get your transmitters into the pouch simply stretch the opening. Don’t worry it wont break, they are designed to stretch! Once the transmitter is inside the top stitches will spring back and hold the transmitter in place. Larger transmitters like a Sennheiser G3 or Audio 2040 are a tight fit. We recommend Big Pouch straps if you use large transmitters – this includes the Audio Ltd MiniTX which is much taller than your average transmitter.

    How long do they last?

Our straps should be considered a consumable. Our tests have found that our straps last over 100 days of constant use. After this point you may wish to replace them but they do not stop working.
