I’m astonished by URSA MiniMounts! Not a hint of clothes rustle on a female presenter and hardly a whisper of chest hair noise from a male artist.

Been moving over to the 6061s, and had a job recently that was 100% dependent on wires. The circular mini mounts and 6061s worked together like a dream. Pretty much has become my go to rig. Great work!
The belt is so great. I hid one a bicycle rider yesterday, before that on a suited man. Before that on a child. I tell my colleagues around me that I can not think of anything other than this belt.
We used Chest Straps for 5 days on a film which consisted entirely of 3 men running down a train tunnel. The straps held superbly well, and never slipped. The sweat and high movement would have ruined any chances of using tape. The low profile of the strap meant that you could never see them through t-shirts. The cable keepers are amazing and kept the cable neatly drawn down the back or side of the artist rather than being messy or loose. 100% recommend.
On my latest film we had a lot of very very tight costumes and the new URSA MiniMounts have really helped reduce bulges and leave the mics where i want them rather than having to move them to an inferior position to reduce the bulge of the disk.
On the current job we have a lot of ties, when all the usual tie rig options had been exhausted I remembered I had these new things and rigged a MiniMount into the tie, it sounded so much better than all other options that had been tried. The MiniMount is ultra low profile and the costume department were loving them, so win, win!
Have used URSA Shorties on an actress for a very long stretch of a series and would happily endorse the crap out of it 👌🏽 happy actress, no fuss, easy micing and our standbys didn’t have to worry about slippage or wires. Shape of pant is also a bonus, can confirm it looks good under fitted pencil skirts etc. Will be buying for my kit regardless!
Managed to use a couple of WireRigs and loved them! Great to use under tables as discreet plants on wides!

I’m a huge fan of URSA Straps products, and this exceptionally hot summer has made me an even bigger fan. The Chest Strap has been particularly useful. Talent and contributors love Ursa, and I’ve gotten compliments for making being wired a comfortable experience.
For me the best URSA Strap is the Chest Strap! Forget about the tape and the mic noise!
URSA Foamies have been my go to for hiding mics on PSC jobs where I’m constantly re-micing people up quickly with different clothing. I also have lots of packs of URSA Tape & Soft Circles in my consumables list for a series of commercials I’ve been doing. I love it!

Got to try the maskie out this week for the first time we had an interview scene for a cop show, 30 page scene 40 min takes filmed over two days. Hands down the most comfortable mask accessory I’ve used. Really helped to keep the pressure off the top off my ears but still pulled the mask around my face making it feel more secure and give me the best protection it can offer.
I tried the Maskie as all the face masks I was using pulled on my ears and made them uncomfortable to wear. Using the Maskie means that my face masks all fit, I can keep it around my neck which is convenient when shopping and its easier to put my mask on as I wear glasses and I don’t have to get tangled up with them around my ears. A simple solution for making it easier to use a face mask!
It’s brilliant! It’s such a simple concept but it really does the trick. Can’t wait to test it on set soon, we’ve been shooting lately and definitely felt sore behind the ears. This will definitely help.
After two weeks of COVID lifestyle onset and I thought – I need to call Simon Bysshe. URSA’s fabric is perfectly wearable for hours on talents, why not on crew’s necks. It’s simply perfect, both over and below the ears.
We have been using a pair of URSA Shorties for our lead actress since September. Essential kit! Costume and Cast absolutely love them and they are so low profile you can get a mic rigged on even the tightest of costumes.
I just want to say that URSA Thigh Straps have been an absolute god send on this last job. Costume department and actors love them. It’s URSA all the way on HBO’s Strike Back 6. Ingenious! I think the URSA straps are big leap forward in radio mic concealment. Everyone loves them for Actors to Costume Designers, and we all know that keeping those people on-side is at least half the battle when it comes to getting good radio mic sound.
The Maskie saved my ears today as had to wear a mask for 7 hours continuously and have not had sore ears which would normally be the case without the wonderful Maskie. It’s the saviour for ones ears. Makes wearing a mask very comfortable without comprise.
Our talent liked the URSA Waist Strap so much she wanted to buy it off me right there!
I bought a couple of URSA Straps recently. I was so impressed that I bought a heap more today! Will be adding more colours to the collection next time.
As soon as our lead actress put the URSA on she was thrilled!! She said it was the best one she’s ever worn and made sure that we would have this for the rest of the show. Also the wardrobe dept approves because the super thin design makes the strap even harder to see than the competition.
These straps are outstanding. Now I can put a mic pack on a lady in a tight party dress without any lumps or bumps. Actors are coming to me at the end of the day to ask the name of them so they can request them on other jobs. Before I had URSA Straps I always had lengthy conversations with costume and actors about placement. Now it’s a quick, painless process because everyone is happy.

The gripper on the URSA Thigh Strap is a great addition, as slippy straps can be a problem and the cable keeper on the waist straps is really practical. Great collaboration between sound and costume, designed by the users, used by the designers.
URSA Foamies are excellent. I love the way the capsule is almost exposed. Great for polo shirt buttons and great sound for indoors.
I’ve long been a fan of Chest Straps for those times when there’s nothing else to stick a lav to. Thin, smooth, gripper-backed to prevent it slipping round or down, loops to route the cable, and different sizes of pockets for different sizes of lav. Wish I’d discovered them sooner.
The new MiniMounts have made my mic’ing up of people significantly quicker. Keep up the great work!
I’ve used URSA MiniMounts exclusively for the last week on everything from starched white shirts, to dancers practice gear and leotards, through to cotton overalls on the engine room crew, they’ve been brilliant to use, usually not needing any tweaking.

It’s all about MiniMounts, absolutely amazing! Lowest profile mount that works great; especially with the low profile Plush Circles.
I love the convenience of the URSA Tape Soft Strips and use them a lot for quietening down noisy mic placements.
URSA Tape was perfect to significantly reduce the rubber – to rubber screech on the door of a bus we were filming on!
We put 6 Chest Straps on talent running a tough mudder. All came back with the straps still attached! So pretty impressed with what these straps can go through.
Recently, instead of using waist straps, I’ve started to rig transmitters by safety pinning them on the inside of waist straps, or sometimes on petticoats for women (I seem to do a lot of period stuff!) URSA Belt Pouches are brilliant for this, there really isn’t anything else out there for the job. When I’ve been asking actors what they prefer, a lot like this method because it’s the least intrusive, and for me it’s even easier to get to the transmitter for a battery change than a waist belt.
I’m currently working on ‘Killing Eve 2’, and Sandra Oh, who has always had a clip pouch for her radio mic and would never have it on her ankle, You’ve now changed that, she’s a massive fan of your Ankle straps – thanks URSA Straps!

We used the straps a lot the last couple of months shooting fitness videos and they are great! The gripper holds perfectly, it never fell off, even when the talent was jumping all over the place for 30+ minutes. I just want to say thank you for creating this product! It’s simply amazing.
URSA Foamies are helping a lot in creating separation between a heavy police vest and the costume cast are wearing underneath.
URSA Straps achieved a perfect result with our Oscar winning lead actor: a 13hr day in a semi-transparent dress, involving dancing, running up steps and live singing suddenly got easier when our actress expressed vocally how amazing the new Thigh Strap was – it didn’t slip like other thigh straps, the tx felt cooler, it was invisible.
