What makes Live Straps different to your regular Straps?
Our Live Straps are designed for easy & fast access to a transmitter inside the pouch. We achieve this by making the pouches 1cm wider than our regular straps - they measure 9cm across rather than 8cm. This makes the pouches wider and easier to get large IEM or Transmitter units inside.
We have also added our unique Integrated Pouch Protector to the pouch so this can fold over and attach with hook & loop tape to keep the unit inside the pouch 100% secure from coming out.
How long are they expected to last? Are they consumables?
The hook and loop longevity for our straps depends on the frequency of use and the amount of washing the straps are given. We generally feel that our straps should provide 160 days of shooting, with multiple washes during this period. After a period of extensive use the fabric will shown signs of use.
If the hook tape always attaches to the same area on the strap then that area is likely to loosen up a little over time as the material begins to fray and loose its loop effect. If you feel that your strap is loosing grip too quickly then there may be an issue and we are happy to replace straps which do not last as long as intended.

Can URSA Straps be washed?
Yes, we recommendregular washing. Our straps can be washed at40-60 degreesand placed in a tumble dryer on alow/medium heatto dry. We would also recommendhang-drying.
