I found my Sony helmet cam was picking up a lot of wind noise on the way to work so I was searching for a way to reduce it. A Youtube video suggested sticking one of these over the microphone holes so I bought a pack and tried it out. I found that the wind noise is reduced a little but what I don't get any more is the harsh sound when the wind suddenly comes in from the side when I turn my head. As I said, a niche use case but it works well and I've got lots more to use when this one comes unstuck!

Thought I would try these out and was happy with the results on a par or better than the rycote overcovers I have been using. These ones seem fluffier - although they do come apart a bit - maybe too fluffy! But it stops all the wind noise I would expect.
