They’re so good. We rigged Soft Soles & the Heavy Duties on our Steadycam ops shoes which were really noisy. The shot went from indoors to outdoors during this long take. We were worried about the rain but it was fine. At the end of each setup we checked on the tape & it was still there. It lasted all day!

These are perfect for reducing footsteps sounds on set. I used them on actors and supporting artists to minimise the overall noise on set during scenes with people moving around while actors are having a dialogue. I used to go for neoprene tape attached to footwear to reduce the footsteps sounds but it always fell off after a few minutes of walking and had to replace them every time. Not to mention that I had to cut the tape to fit different shoes every time, the Ursa Soft Soles come pre-cut in different sizes to fit most footwear making my job easier.

Really great piece of kit. I’ve been using the cheep stuff before I grabbed a set of these soles. So much better, love the grip on the too. Had a scene where the ground had gotten a bit slick. But was able to grip up the shoes and quiet them really quickly and effectively with these.
