Our Soft, Light Foamie Flex is designed to improve RF consistency & hide easily under costumes.

By creating a 4 mm gap between the antenna and the body the Foamie Flex helps prevent detuning & signal loss which can occur when an antenna is pressed directly against the body.

At 13 cm long, 9 mm diameter with a 4 mm internal channel the Foamie Flex slides over whip antennas of all types. The foam can be cut to size for shorter antennas.

Decent to have around for moments where an antenna is tucked tightly against a body to help with RF range & also to give comfort to talent if they are complaining about an antenna poking them. Not too thick that it'd bulk up & make an antenna more visible to camera (and most likely if it was, the transmitter would also be clearly visible).They stay on tightly to ariels so won't be likely to get lost when talent demic themselves (when I used to use foamies for the same function, they would slide all over & usually get lost very quickly), bonus that you can cut them to various sizes to use for various other applications.

These are a game changer for RF signal and I’ve also found them useful for putting on an antenna when working with children when the aerial needs to be against their skin.It helps keep a strong RF signal, is low profile but importantly it’s really soft so if you’re working with a child actor who is in a bit of a bad mood, it’s one thing they can’t really complain about! I’ve also used them successfully when I’ve rigged the transmitter on an ankle strap to help with the signal.I used them last year on a job about marathon runners who ran for long distances (sometimes out of range of our antennas so onboard recording was a necessity), and it really helped to keep them in range for longer.Also, the fact you get 4 for £18 means they’re only £4.50 each so you can get more for your money on a consumables order!
